In these stories originally available only online and tying into the bestselling video game Batman: Arkham City, Dr. Hugo Strange has gained control of Arkham Asylum and is determined to keep the city's criminal element behind bars. Gotham City in turn has been transformed into a massive prison, run by a madman and ruled by the criminal element. Batman: Arkham Unhinged Volume 3 features an all-star cast of Gotham's super-villains, gathered together for the trial of the century starring The Joker as the defendant. With Two-Face serving as both prosecutor and judge, The Joker doesn't stand a chance in this kangaroo court, but will The Joker have to rely on his biggest foe, Batman, to save him from "justice?" This volume collects Batman: Arkham Unhinged numbered 11-16.
Derek Fridolfs broke into comics at the same time as Dustin Nguyen, and has collaborated with him on such titles as GEN ACTIVE, JET, THE AUTHORITY, SUPERMAN/BATMAN and now DETECTIVE COMICS. In addition, he has contributed work to a wide variety of other titles, including Wolverine, Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four, Kiss, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Emily the Strange and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as writing stories for Western Tales of Terror, Trailer Park of Terror, the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund's More Fund anthology and an upcoming volume of the Image anthology title Popgun. Fridolfs has also worked with the Fresno County and Kern County libraries, teaching seminars on comics for fans of all ages. He lives in Fresno, California.
