COVID-19 Update: all book collections are currently paused.

Do you have too many books?

If you’re looking to downsize, sell or recycle your old books, The Book Grocer can help.  Please note that due to time and resource constraints, we will only consider collections of over 200 books

We'll collect your books for free:  If you’ve got over 200 books that you’d like collected in the greater Melbourne area (or some regional centres, if we have a store there), you can email us at info@bookgrocer.com and arrange a time for collection.  We will get in touch within 24 hours to arrange a convenient time.  We’ll arrive punctually with our own boxes and pack up your books and take them away.

You can also drop off books for recycling at our warehouse in Tullamarine.  The address is 5/101 Keilor Park Drive and the opening hours are 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Please note this is a drop-off service only - we do not pay for books in this way.

We'll sometimes pay for your books:  If you’d like to sell your books, you can email images of the spines to info@bookgrocer.com and we will get in touch to discuss. Please note that due to time and resource constraints, we will only consider collections of over 200 books

What happens to my books?
