These are treasured keepsakes  something to be savored over a lifetime  and then passed on to friends and descendants. Playbill Books  a division of the iconic 125-year-old company that designs the programs for every show on Broadway  has expanded this idea into an annual book that has become a Broadway institution: EThe Playbill Broadway YearbookE. Taking the form of a high school yearbook  the fifth edition is packed with photos and memorabilia from the entire 2008-2009 Broadway season.THThe new edition includes chapters on 78 Broadway shows  which is every show that ran during the season a not just the new shows like EBilly ElliotE  EGod of CarnageE  EShrekE and ERock of AgesE  but the long-running ones from seasons past  like EPhantom of the OperaE  EThe Lion KingE and EWickedE. This year's roster is expected to top 9 000 names.","brand":"Secondhand Stock","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50603945623771,"sku":"9781423482932-SECONDHAND","price":20.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0523\/7646\/9701\/files\/03934e72-0b62-4780-b760-243896b46298.jpg?v=1791557988","url":"https:\/\/bookgrocer.com\/products\/9781423482932-secondhand-the-playbill-broadway-yearbook-june-2008-may-2009","provider":"Book Grocer","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
