Sometimes you receive a book that you just want to look at and admire. This graphic novel is just that. Solid hardcover, lovely embossing and quality paper. The story isn't too bad either!

Have really enjoyed these books by Hanner Kaner, a young female author in her first publications.
The three main characters are all well developed and have complex relationships with each other and those in power which is revealed in their back stories. There is plenty of action to keep the story rolling along and the writing makes it easy to imaging the environments in the story. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes fantasy.

Among the many clandestine things the CIA has done, or been accused of doing, operating a secret library has never been on the list. But what a marvellous thing to do,this ensuring that fresh ideas could find new homes and build bigger and better communities. It is sad to contemplate that something like ths might be necessary in the not-too-distant future, but the world's seeming trajectory toward authoritarianism is quite disturbing.

Funny and easy reading and an insight into nhs
Facinating book which completely up-ends many contemporary assumptions about both the location of Troy, the Trojans and the Troad as well as all the other players involved. It is a novel retake on what we think is an ancient Greek story, but ends up being a Bronze Age Celt one instead. This book, new, is pricey and I was very lucky to find a second hand copy in very good condition with you.
As with all of Nigella's cookbooks, this one is brilliant!
