A very easy ,entertaining book to read
Lovely Christmas Story with all the charm and festivities of this season. You really get to know the characters and will feel good at the end. As for Book Grocer-I have never been disappointed with their range and quality of books. Their service and fast delivery is assured

Thought this was a great idea for my book obsessed daughter. We haven’t started it yet ( not December!) but I am hoping it will introduce her to some new reads and authors. Better than lollies every day and it will keep her busy during the summer holidays, exploring books.

Ancient Trees - trees that live for a thousand years actually reveals trees that live up to 9000 years. Truly awe inspiring as they are the longest living of all inhabitants of this planet. Brilliant photography and superb text. Highly recommended.

Crisp, dense intellectual writing of the hedonics of wine with a lingering philosophical examination of place as a determinative of unique, specific wine outcomes.
My 2.5yr old granddaughter absolutely loves this book. It's become her new favourite as it appeals to her mischievous sense of humour. Beautifully illustrated and with a rhyming story it's a great introduction to toddlers and pre-schoolers who are taking the next step from board books.
This is a marvellous book and I was so sorry to come to the end of it. No doubt in the fullness of time I will re-read it. The Book Grocer is/are nice people to deal with.

Easy read to escape for a few hours.
At times, Pang's writing reads like a graduate thesis—bone-dry and nothing but repeating sentences of citations; however, the core ideas and assertions are valuable in today's hustle culture. If you had read Cal Newport's works (Digital Minimalism, Deep Work, and so on), the ideas might come across as fresh, but the value lies in the amount of science-backed claims in the core thesis.
Working shorter hours, napping, taking walks, having active leisure, taking vacations—these just aren't some crunchy, new-age gimmicks. We are fundamentally evolved to do our best work when we follow our evolutionary need to rest.
A classic for a tenner? Unbelievable. Thank You again BG! Xx
