Interviews By Men and Women Who Lived History

This is a great book detailing the lives of men and women in Britain during World War 11. Times then were extremely tough and death was a constant presence in the lives of the men and women who still went about their everyday tasks and did what was expected of them. Young men and women died quickly and violently in the armed services and in bombings but life went on and eventually due to their efforts the war was won. One can only admire the fortitude of all who contributed to achieving and living through such difficult times and this book shows how these people did so. A great read.
