A well written history of the Caesar family and it's influence on Rome, starting from Julius and ending with Nero. The author touches on so many famous (infamous?) events and personalities, the power struggles, the at times torrid family feuds, all in a very conversational yet comprehensive manner, making for very engaging reading. I could not put this book down! Highly recommended.
