It is the first US edition of the book, which was originally published in Britain in 1986 under the title I Used to Be an Animal, But IÕm All Right Now. The book recounts CaitlinÕs life and marriage to Dylan, from their first meeting in London to their turbulent years in Wales and abroad. Caitlin reveals many details about DylanÕs character, work, habits, affairs, and death, as well as her own struggles with alcoholism, depression, and motherhood. The book also offers a glimpse into the literary and bohemian circles of the mid-20th century. The book has 212 pages.
