It also explores his post-war achievements as a civil engineer, a public servant, and a leader of various causes. The book was written by Geoffrey Serle, a distinguished Australian historian and biographer. It was first published by Melbourne University Press in 1982, and reprinted in 1983. It has 600 pages. Additional remarks: Mild foxing and stains to edges.
