The Forest Messengers is a tale of the frontier by Edward S. Ellis. It was published by Cassell and Company in 1907 and has 340 pages. It is the third book in the Deerfoot series, following the exploits of Deerfoot, a young Shawanoe chief who befriends two white boys, George and Victor Shelton. The book depicts their involvement in the American Revolution, fighting against the British and their Indian allies. They also witness the massacre of Christian Indians at Gnadenhutten by Pennsylvania militiamen. Additional remarks, light foxing on pages, mild foxing on front endpaper, binding is loose, light foxing on back endpaper.
