"A Tolkien Bestiary" by David Day is an comprehensive reference-guide that explores the various creatures and beings found in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. Published by Ballantine Books in 1979, this first edition hardback illustrated in colour and black & white, to all the living creatures - races, flora and fauna - that inhabited J.R.R. Tolkines's Middle-earth And Undying Lands. The book is in fine condition, although it is an ex-library book with an inscription on the front page. The dust jacket is in fine condition with general shelf wear and some tears along the spine and edges. The DJ is clipped and also contains some soiling along the back and it is protected by a clear plastic sleeve.
