Deep Sea Mokey is an adventure children novel by Grace Couch, first published by Collins in 1947. Sammy Swallow wouldn't fly away to a warm climate with his Mummy and Daddy, he wanted to stay with Apricot and Mokey. But when the snow fell and it got too cold for Sammy, he wanted to fly to his Mummy, and so our two heroes had to set out and find Mr. and Mrs. Swallow. When they finally found Sammy's parents, and dropped anchor off this little island, everybody was happy, including Sammy. ... And then the fun started when Mokey had to climb down and down and down the anchor rope into the very deep, deep blue sea (Apricot couldn't go, because as he said "Cat's don't like water') to find out why the anchor would not pull up. But to tell you more would spoil the story for you, and I must leave it for you to find out what happened when Mokey got to the bottom, and found the anchor. First Edition. Condition: Fair with general wear. Dust jacket: Fair - protected in clear plastic sleeve. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting.
