The essays explore the origins, development, and doctrines of the ancient religion of the Parsis, who are followers of Zoroaster in India. The book also includes translations of some of the sacred texts of the Parsis, such as the Avesta and the Gathas. The book was edited and enlarged by E. W. West, a British orientalist, and published in 1907 by Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Co. in London. It has 427 pages. Additional remarks: Top edge stained. Orange board with gilt lettering and embossing. A few stains on the front board, Mild bumping to corners and spine. Binding remains firm. Sun-faded spine. Overall, remains a good copy for age.
