A Quick One...

Pretty good so far (I'm only up to mid 1967) with enough tidbits I'd not encountered previously. I like the chronicle format although no one ever did anything significant on the day I was born in 1964 (I've read similar books on the Beatles and Beach Boys). I would love more stuff on their recordings, particularly the tech, instruments, studios and engineers but at least I know the exact date Substitute was recorded and what was happening around that time (it's also good to have it essentially confirmed that Moon played on it - there's some Who conspiracists insisting it was Ginger Baker).
