In addition to Stieglitz's commentary on the development of fine-art photography, this volume includes notes and photo recipes from experiments with the early photographic processes, including early color photography and platinum and photogravure printing. The book is illustrated with over 75 black-and-white photographs by Stieglitz and his contemporaries, and contains selections of his articles in their original layouts.
