A Heavenly Murder Mystery. Detective Sergeant Lucielle (Lucky) Lambert looked down at the body lying in the bath. The eyes were closed and the body looked quite peaceful really. Her dark hair wasn't looking too good with strands flattened against her cheeks and forehead and blood trickling down the right side of her face from the nasty gash on her head. The makeup was a bit blurry and streaked, skin a bit pale maybe, but all over, the body was in pretty good shape. Yes, Lucky thought, I can definitely ID this body; there's no doubt about it, it's mine! The police are convinced Lucky had slipped in the bath and suffered an accidental death but she knows it was murder. But how can she find her killer when she can't identify him? There's no apparent motive and no evidence. Besides, being dead, she can't be seen or heard so how can she gather evidence or interview suspects? She decides to enlist the help of Evelyn, a reluctant psychic and a madcap character, who in the past has suffered embarrassing indignity and humiliation at the hands of the police and is now no longer inclined to use her psychic talents in criminal cases. From her Heavenly vantage point, the late Senior Sergeant Lambert eventually convinces Evelyn to help and this sets them on a trail of crimes that in some strange way seem connected to her own murder.
