After studying Illustration at the Norwich School of Art, Adam completed a Masters in Narrative Illustration at the University of Brighton and he has been illustrating professionally ever since. Adam has a rich imagination and loves fantasy and adventure stories. His picture book Silly Doggy! was longlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal. His picture book SLAM! won the Norfolk Library Silver Award for Children's Books. His collaboration with Jeanne Willis, Bottoms Up, won the Red House Children's Book Award 2010 and the sequel, Sing a Song of Bottoms was shortlisted for the Early Years Award 2010.
