Availability: in stock at our Melbourne warehouse.

The second DI Hal Luchewski novel by up-and-coming crime novelist Mark Lock. Luchewski investigates a series of crimes which seem to originate in a murder investigation from some years earlier...but are old adversaries telling the truth or just playing games with him? Meanwhile, Hal's relationship with Stevie has its ups and downs as Hal comes to terms with being an out gay man in the police force.

Mark Lock was born far earlier than he likes or cares to admit, and spent much of his childhood humming Smiths songs around the rainy South Wales valleys. He studied maths at university because he was good at adding up, and has taught in colleges for the last twenty years. He is married to the writer Zillah Bethell and has two children. Dead Man's Hand, his debut novel, is the first in a series featuring DI Hal Luchewski.
