We believe it has a far wider sales potential, because this is quite simply, the best book ever written about Australians at war. This printing has a new cover, based on the original 1920 edition. The book has a strikingly clear and simple style, and describes the battles of the Western Front in France, where some 60,000 Australians lost their lives - a scale of tragedy far greater than that at Gallipoli.
