She served as executive editor for NG Kids magazine and vice president of operations for the Education and Children's Media group. Agnone has authored, edited and managed print and digital magazines, books and educational products. Recently, she taught writing and editing courses as a visiting professional at Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Amazing Rivers is her third children's book.

When she's not careering down slopes on her snowboard, Kerry Hyndman works from her South London studio creating rich, textured maps and illustrations.
