It's the most amazing time you've ever had; the greatest place you've ever been; it's your BEST friend. Let an idea take you by the hand and turn the everyday into extraordinary. A book to open children's minds to the possibilities of their imagination and ideas. AUTHOR: Cheryll Johns is a South Australian based artist and illustrator. She has completed the illustrations for three children's books. Silly Galah, written by Janeen Brian, 'Meet the Monsters', written by Max Fatchen and 'Big Bad Bruce', written by Dianne Bates. This is Cheryll's first book that she has both written and illustrated, although she has always written for herself. Cheryll studied at the University of South Australia completing a Bachelor of Design, majoring in illustration. After a stint at an advertising company in Sydney, then a design studio in Adelaide, she decided to focus on her illustration. She was a regular contributor for many years to children's magazines: Disney Adventures, K-Zone, Total girl, Sugar (Germany) and K-Club (UK). She has worked on numerous advertising campaigns for the likes of McCann & Ericsonn, KWP, Simon Richards Group and Publicis Mojo. Cheryll has been freelance illustrating for twelve years and sculpting and painting for twenty. SELLING POINTS: * Suitable for children of all ages * Delightfully illustrated * Great for classroom discussion * Encourages creativity and imagination * Teachers notes available
