It tells the story of Peter Ibbetson, a French orphan who is adopted by his uncle in England, and falls in love with his cousin Mary, also known as Mimsey. They are separated by fate, but reunite in their dreams, where they can live out their fantasies and memories. The novel is a romantic and mystical tale of the power of love and imagination. The novel has a preface by Daphne du Maurier, the authorÕs granddaughter, and is illustrated by the author. It was published by The Heritage Press in 1963, and has 344 pages.
