"Evil for Pleasure" is a book by the Japanese author Tatsuzo Ishikawa, translated by Paul T. Konya. Published in 1972 by Yohan Publications, the book spans 356 pages and is available in a softback edition. Tatsuzo Ishikawa was born on July 2, 1905, in Yokote, Akita Prefecture, Japan. He is notably the first winner of the prestigious Akutagawa Prize, which he received in 1935 for his novel "S_b_," based on his experiences in Brazil. Ishikawa's work often reflects his keen observations of society and his experiences as a war correspondent. Ishikawa's literary career includes a variety of works, and he continued to be an active writer after World War II. In 1969, he was honored with the Kikuchi Kan Prize for his contributions to Japanese literature.
