Silent Voices explores the lives of the men of 10th Infantry battalion, from its formation in September 1914 at Morphettville in South Australia to its disbanding after the Great War in 1919. The 10th battalion was raised within weeks of the declaration of war in 1914 and was the first infantry battalion raised in South Australia for service with the A.I.F. (Australian Imperial Force) and embarked for service overseas just two months later. Together with the 9th, 11th, and 12th Battalions, it formed part of the famous 3rd Brigade - (The All Australian Brigade).
