Advent - Non-Fiction Book Box 2025

All I can see right now is a box, which was delivered promptly and in good condition. Am I tempted to open it…you betcha. Will I be able to resist…it’s one day at a time as I sit in darkness and clasp my hands to the scissors like President Snow. Will I succeed in resisting…only 21 more days to find out.

Any of the mystery boxes, birthday or Christmas or basically any blind box of books is a good idea. It's worth it for the new faves in my collection, for being exposed to new authors I wouldn't normally buy and to challenging yourself to a new hobby such as reading more instead of scrolling. I challenged myself to open one book at a time and read it until it was finished, or until I was finished with it, and it has meant i've been so more passionate about books again like when I was a child. Lunch breaks and any free time have been about reading instead of scrolling as much. I'm truly stoked with the quality of the box, the content and variation, the beautiful Christmas paper. If someone were to actually open it each of the 24 days of Christmas, it would be an epic advent calender. Instead, I bought it early so it wouldn't sell out, opened book by book I read at first but then opened the rest all at once. Stoked. Can't wait to read them all, give them away, keep my faves... it's such an exciting fun treat.

Very quick well packaged parcel. Being an Advent Calendar I'm so looking forward to open each package in the days before Christmas which will give me plenty of holiday reading. Thanks Book Grocer.
