These artists work in a range of media, including sculpture, drawing, video, installation and performance, and the World Wide Web. The book also includes artists' interviews and brief biographies.
Lynn Zelevansky is Terri and Michael Smooke Curator and Department Head of Contemporary Art at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Christine D. Starkman is curator of Asian art at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Joan Kee is assistant professor in the history of art department at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and is the author or editor of writings on film and art from many Asian countries. Sunjung Kim is an independent curator based in Seoul, Korea.
